A Numerological Study on Serbian Folktales

In this paper special importance is attached to the aspects of numerology which is shown in serbian oral folktales, ‘Очина заклетва’ and ‘Маћеха и пасторка'. Actually, the aspects of numerology are put to use in various fields of our life. That is, in particular, some symbolical meaning in itself. Therefore, the symbolical meanings of each number have to be interpreted in relation to the context and the whole text. But I have to clarify that the interpretation in the paper is nothing but a premise about a symbolical meaning in oral literature. That is, this paper is potential presentation for our coming researches.
