중도 · 중복장애학생 순회교육 담당교사의 직무수행 어려움을 교육활동 영역별로 파악하고, 나아가 직무수행어려움과 교사 효능감 및 샤회적 지원 인식 변인간의 상관관계를 분석하기 위하여 서울과 인천지역 소재 특수학교 재직 교원 증 현재 순회교육을 담당하고 있거나 과거 경험이 있는 교원 84 명을 대상으로 직무수행 어려움, 교사 효능감, 사회적 지원 인식 수준에 대한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구 결과 중도·중복장애 학생의 순회교육을 담당한 교사들에게 있어서 직무수행 어려움과 관련 변인 간에는 통계적으로 유의한 부적 상관관계가 성립했는데,특히 교사자신의 교사효능감 및 사회적 지원 인식 수준이 높을수록 직무 수행 어려움을 인식하는 수준이 낮은 것으로 분석되었다.
This study is conducted to appreciate the difficulties teachers encounter when they perform their duties, and to analyze the connection between teachers’ sense of self-efficacy and the level of social support awareness of special education in a bid to promote the quality of itinerant teaching for students with severe and multiple disabilities. A total of 84 teachers who have served as itinerant teachers for special students in Seoul and Incheon patticipated in the survey which asked about teachers’ sense of self-efficacy,level of social support awareness, and difficulty in job performance. The following is the result presented by order of difficulty (from greatest to leasr); teaching social skills, teachers ’ mobility,organizing social environment, managing exrracurricular activities, teaching routines, and stress in teaching, and it also indicates that a realm of managing curriculum and physical conditions show a bigger difficulty than that of psychologic and social condition. Furthermore, the higher level of social support awareness leads to less difficulty in performing the profession. The result says that more support needs to be provided to the area of managing curriculum and physical conditions than to the area of psychological and social condition, which claim the administrative and financial support. Some discussion points of related current issues were made as well.
