1989년 민주화 혁명 이후 루마니아어에 나타난 전문용어의 변화 양상

A study on the changes in Romanian language since the 1989 democratic revolution：Transitions in technical terminologies

본 논문은 루마니아의 1989년 혁명과 그로인한사회적변화가언어미친영향을 기술 분야의 전문용어에 중점을 두어 연구한 것이다. 루마니아 사회는 1989년 이후 급격한 정치-경제 시스템의 변동을 겪게 되며 그 여파는 사회의 각 분야에 미쳤으며 언어에 있어서도 많은 변화가 나타나게 된다. 여러 언어적 요소 가운데 그 변화는 주로 어휘 부분에 집중되어있는데 이는 어휘 부분이 현실을 반영하면서 가장 쉽게 변화할 수 있기 때문이다. 전문용어를 크게 사회과학 분야와 기술 분야로 분류하여 바라볼 때 사회과학 분야의 전문용어는 기술 전문용어에 비해서 좀 더 사회와 깊은 연관성을가지고있으며좀 더일반 어휘에 가까운 특성을 보인다. 기술 분야의 전문용어는 물론 언어적 규범 내에서 의미작용을 하지만 기술 분야의 지식체계에 많은 부분 연동되어있고 이에 의해서 변화하는 모습을 보인다. 루마니아어에서 기술 전문용어의 가장 큰 특징은 조어 방법에서 나타난다. 루마니아어는 라틴어적 특성상 접미사를 통한 파생법이 가장 생산적인 조어법이 지만 기술 용어를 구성하는데 있어서는 합성어가 매우 큰 부분을 차지하고 있다. 루마니아어는 근대화는 초기에 전문용어를 받아들이는데 다소 혼란상이 있었으나 점차 긍정적인 방향으로 개선되기 시작하였고 공산주의 기간에 국가적 차원에서 전문용어의 통일화 작업을 벌이면서 각 분야의 전문용어는 체계적으로 정리되고 발전하게 되었다. 1989년 혁명이후의 기술 분야 전문용어의 가장 큰 특징은 어원적으로 영어 영향의 급격한 증가이며 조어 법적인 측면에서 보았을 때에는 높은 합성어 비율이다. 혁명이후 루마니아의 기술 분야 전문용어는 과거 근대화 초기에 그랬듯이 혼란상을 보였으나 점차 루마니아어 체계내로 받아들여지면서 발전해가고 있다.

This article is a study on the changes in Romanian language, concentrated on transitions in technical terminologies since the 1989 democratic revolution. Romanian society has experienced a critical changes in politico-economical systems after 1989 revolution. The transition of politico-economical system influenced also their language. Language change was most apparent in vocabulary because vocabulary is flexible and could be changed easily reflecting the changing realities. Technical Terminology functions in the framework of linguistic norm, but it is also deeply related to the knowledge system of techniques. The characteristics of Romanian technical terminology are shown from the word formation rules. Romanian language has a very productive suffixes in general vocabulary, but in the field of technical terminology the compound terms are over exceeds the derivatives. From the beginning of the modernization of Romanian language, has had some confusions in accepting terminology from foreign languages, but they overcome this soon and established a systematic way of creating terminology in to their language structure. The characteristics of Romanian language after the 1989's revolution could be represented by English influences and compound terms.
