제7차 도덕/윤리 교과서의 문제점과 개선 방안

Problems in moral/ethics textbook in the 7th and ways to improve : On eastern ethics

본 연구는 현행 도덕교과와 관련된 교과서 중에서 동양윤리 부분의 문제점을 분석하여, 그 개선 방안을 제시하였다. 2장에서는 교과서에서 동양윤리의 ‘현대적 의의’를 다루는 것이 적절하지 못함을 지적하였다. 동양의 윤리는 시공을 초월하여 본래 그 의의를 가지고 있는 것으로 새롭게 그 의의를 부여할 필요가 없기 때문이다. 3장에서는 동서고금의 보편성을 가질 수 있는 것만이 전통윤리가 될 수 있음을 밝혔다. 4장에서는 유교, 불교, 도교의 삼교가 혼합되어 있다는 풍류도를 전통사상으로 보는 것의 부당함을 말하였다. 왜냐하면 삼교가 융합되어야 비로소 하나의 온전한 사상이 될 수 있기 때문이다. 5장에서는 체용론에 입각하여 우리의 덕성을 함양하여 실천할 수 있는 방향으로 교과서가 서술되어야 함을 서술하였다. 6장에서는 도덕이 철학에 근거를 두고 있음을 밝히고, 도덕을 바르게 이해하고 실천할 수 있도록 철학교육이 이루어져야 함을 말하였다.

This research has been done to point out the problems of eastern Ethics in Ethics textbooks and to present the improvements. In the second chapter, it is written why text book should not mention "Contemporary Meaning" of the eastern Ethics; eastern Ethics pertain to universal meaning itself, but it does not need new significance. In the third chapter, it is said that traditional ethics should possess universality which applies to both east and west, old and new. In the fourth chapter, it explains that Pungryu-Do, in which, Confucian, Buddhism and Taoism coexist, is not Traditional Ethics. These three religions should be mingled together harmonically to come out as a sound ideology. Chapter five describes textbook should be written to direct students to practice "Good Heart" based on Ti-yung theory. Chapter six asserts ethics roots from philosophy, and philosophy should be taught to understand ethics and to practice.
