본 연구는 고등교육기관이 시대적 중요성에 비추어 훌륭한 학생을 선발하는것이 대학교육의 목적도달에 부합한다는 전제하에, 인재를 육성한다는 선발 당시의 예언 타당도가 높은 평가 방법을 선택해야 함을 역설하고 있다. 이에 따라 그 동안의 우리나라 대학입시제도의 諸 상황들을 살펴보고, 우리 현실에서 가장 이상적인 방법을 모색하고 있다.

The purpose of this study is 1) to review the previous study concerning on the correlation of exam, results between Government Entrance Exam, and University Grades. 2) To analize the Government Entrance Exam, it self in view of its purpose, by reckoning the correlation of the exam, results acquired. 3) to measure the predictive validity in the light of Government Exam. system for the university entrance. 4) to recommend the new test method for university entrance exam, under the basis of above three results on this study. To fulfill the purpose this study 1) has focused on analysing the previous datas which were studied to measure the correlation between the score of entrance exam, and university grades since 1971. 2) has looked into the correlation of above two scores, through one college 232 students of our university which was composed of 5 colleges. 3) to analyse the datas calculated by coefficients of correlation. The results of this study tell us that the has been no relations between above two performance results. In the final analysis firstly, we can't come to the conclusion that a student who has a good (test) results Government Entrance Exam. can guarantee the good grades results. Secondary, the results of Government Entrance Exam, has no influence on making decision concerning specialization in university. According to the above analysis, we might be suggest following as. The current test system must be changed into predictive one which could measure the validity to get university education.
