크로즈(Cloze) 方法을 使用한 絶對基準檢査 作成

Construction of Criterion-referenced Test Based on Close Procedure

본 논문은 절대기준평가로서 크로즈 방법을 사용하는 것이 과연 타당한 것인가를 살피고 있다. 이를 위하여 먼저 크로즈 검사의 특성을 소개하고, 크로즈 방법의 이론적 근거와 여러 가지 검사형태, 점수를 해석하는 방법을 살핀다. 더불어 크로즈 검사가 다른 종류의 검사에 비해 어떤 장점과 단점을 갖고 있는지 고찰하고 있다. 또한 절대기준검사의 측정이론에 적용할 수 있는지도 살펴보고 있다.

Many researchers have tried to develop relevant methods for the item construction of criterion-referenced tests. Osburn(1968) said that the universe-defined test should satisfy two conditions. The first one is that the universe be divided in the specific objectives. The second one is that the item included in test be sebected in terms of stratified random sampling. The cloze procedure seems to be more consistent with the second condition than any other methods. The purpose of this article is to examine whether the cloze procedures can be applied to the construction of criterion-referenced test. To show the validity of cloze procedures, the article is divided into three chapters. The first chapter included the characteristics of cloze procedures. The second chapter examined what respects of cloze procedures could be used for criterion-referenced test. In the last chapter, the advantages and limitations of cloze test against other kinds of achievement tests were introduced. All the literatures referred in this article are from materials written in English. Cloze procedures may not be appropriate for Korean materials. However the writer believes that the basic theories and methods can be applied to Korean materials.
