미술대학 입시제도의 비판적 고찰과 재개념화

A Reconceptualization and Critical Review of Admission Officer System in Fine Art College: A Type Analysis according to Admission Officer System

본 연구는 일반대학입시에서 새롭게 도입된 입학사정관제도(Admission Officer System)가 미술대학입시에 도입됨으로서 이에 따른 수용방안과 시사점을 도출하는 것이 연구의 목적이다. 지금까지 미술대학에서는 대입수능, 내신, 실기고사의 범주에서 적격자 선발이 이루어져 왔다. 그러나 이러한 평가 방법이 타당성, 공정성, 신뢰성 확보에 많은 비판이 제기되었으나 뚜렷한 대안을 제시하기 어려웠고 변화에 소극적 이였다. 이에 본 연구는 미술대학입시에 있어 평가요소들을 비판적으로 분석하고, 이를 극복하기 위한 노력 중의 하나인 입학사정관제가 한국의 미술대학 입시문화에 어떻게 적용되며, 그리고 현재 미술대학입학사정관제 전형을 실시하고 있는 H대학교와 K대학교 입학사정관제의 전형요소별로 분석, 반추(反芻)함으로서 제도의 확대 실시에 대한 시사점을 제공하고자 하였다. 대학입시에서 새로운 패러다임으로 부각된 입학사정 관제 전형이 미술대학 적격자 선발에 있어 타당하고 신뢰로운 평가 방법이 될 것이라는 시사점을 통하여, 입학사정관제도가 대학입시문화의 질적인 변화와 그리고 안정적인 정착을 위한 시료(詩料)가 될 수 있을 것이라 본다.

This study suggests applications and implications according to the introduction of Admission Officer System newly introduced in usual university for selection of qualified people in Fine Art College. So far in College of Fine Arts, selection of qualified people has been operated within entrance examination-Scholastic Aptitude Test-, academic reports, and performance test. But many people criticized the validity, fairness, and reliability on the evaluation method, and had a negative approach. So this study intends to critically analyze the evaluation factors on the entrance examination of Fine Art College and inform the applications of Admission Officer System-One of the efforts to overcome the problemsfor admission culture of Korean Fine Art College. And it also has an implication on expansion of the system through the analysis and rumination of Admission Officer System types used in Hongik University and Konkuk University. An Admission Officer System emerged in an university entrance examination, can be a valid evaluation method in selection of qualified people in Fine Art College. By this result I think that an introduction of Admission Officer System can also be a foundation for safe settlement.
