民族主義敎育思想의 比較硏究

도산과 피히테는 그 시대성이나 상황은 다르나 국가와 민족의 길을 밝힌 면에서는 민족의 스승이라 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 이들이 제창한 민족주의 교육사상에 대해서 고찰하고 있다. 이를 통하여 빼앗긴 조국을 되찾고, 조국의 광복과 중흥을 꾀할 수 있는 길을 교육을 통해서 제시하고 있다. 민족 교육에 헌신한 이들의 업적은 우리에게 새로운 방향의 시사와 사명감을 갖게 한다.

Ahn Changho with the pen name of Tosan was Korean educationalist and politician who devoted himself to the restoration of independence of his fatherland when she was under the reign of the Japanese. J.G.Fichte was a German educationalist and philosopher, who also devoted himself to the restoration of national autonomy when Germany was in a whirl of French occupation. These are differences latent in their historical and cultural background and in the development of their individual thoughts. Both of them had a common aspect in attempting to recover national autonomy through education in a national adversity. Tosan put an emphasis on the spirit of perseverence, cultivation of power in individuals, complete execution of duty, and fidelity and bravery while. Fichte emphasized as educational objectives patriotism, Succession of the excellent German Language and tradition, high noralits and religion, and indomitable will power. These differences are latent in their historical and cultural background and in the development of their thoughts. Nationalistis education for which they advocated placed a speciol emphasis in the entire process of education on the following points_Tosan emphasized on education for well-rounded personality, behaviors and pratice, sociability, question-and-answer formala, national thinking, and moderatism while. Fichte emphasized morality, development of the mother tongue, partriotism, intuition, supernatural faculties, and is-alationistic education. In the main atream of Tosan and Fichte's educational thoughts, we find a throng similariry in their advocate for education with an emphasis on identity, education for well-rounded personality, generalization of education, voccutional education, scientific educational methods, etc. Their differences consist in the following points Tosan attempted to cultivate humanism and cosmopolitanism in the educated through nationalism while Fichte chose nationalism to accoplish the soprence iarh of his nation of the nation of the tire.
