다매체 활용을 통한 도서관 내부 벽면디자인 연구

A Study of the Library Inside Wall Design Using for Multi-media: Focused on The Attached Elementary School Library Inside Wall of Chuncheon National University of Education

춘천교육대학교 부설초등학교의 도서관 내부 벽면 디자인은 초등학교 4, 5, 6학년 학생들의 참여에 의해 만들어진 것으로 이를 위한 계획, 실험 및 시도, 실행, 완성 과정을 거쳐 진행되었다. 다양한 매체를 활용한 도서관 내부의 벽면디자인은 초등학생들에게 조형 활동의 즐거움과 함께 디자인에 따른 행위와 경험의 중요성을 인식시킨다. 벽면을 디자인하는 디자인 행위는 그 자체가 즐겁고 창의적이며, 표현활동 자체는 문제해결과 의사결정에 직접적으로 관계된다. 또한 도서관 벽면 디자인 활동은 초등학교 미술과 수업에서 할 수 없는 새로운 활동들을 적용함으로서 교사와 학생들에게 건축물의 환경디자인에 대한 인식을 심어주는 기회가 되며 더 나아가 지역 건축물에 대한 시각을 갖게 하는 계기가 된다. 도서관 내부의 벽면 디자인은 도서관이 학생들의 학습장소와 놀이장소로, 교사와 학생들의 수업장소로, 그리고 학부모가 학생을 기다리고 휴식을 취하는 휴식공간으로 사용되면서 편안함과 함께 지역사회의 새로운 가치를 창조한다. 학생들의 벽면 디자인에 의해 도서관공간은 모두에게 친숙한 공간되면서 모두가 하나 되는 공동체 의식을 심어주는 공간을 탈바꿈한다.

The attached elementary school library inside wall of Chuncheon National University of Education designed by 4th, 5th and 6th grade students which progressed through the plan, apply and test, execution and finally completion. Library inside wall design itself using multimedia is happy and creative work. And students who participate in the project enjoy it with passion. Library inside wall design using multi-media gives pleasure while doing art design activity to elementary students. We process several steps using multi-media for students before putting on ceramic tiles. The wall design activities heavily involve solving problems and decision making. Ceramic tile works are new activities to elementary students that they are curious about. Ceramic tile activities challenge the students and help them to open their eyes widely in the field of architecture environment design. We focused on several things. First of all, we organized the committee for this project including the elementary school principal, teachers and college professors. Second, we discussed appropriate themes and methods with materials for wall-design. Third, which grades we used for participating in wall-design. Fourth, how we put all these pieces together and put on the library inside walls. It was a wonderful experience for all of the students and teachers who participated in this project. When they finished and put their works on the wall after completing the project, they were very happy with them. And they shared their beautiful wall design with their friends, parents and local community.
