세계교육에 대한 유아교사의 인식 및 실태조사

Teacher's Needs and Current Conditions about the Global Education in Kindergarten

본 연구에서는 전국의 유치원 교사들을 대상으로 세계교육에 대한 인식과 요구사항 및 교육현황을 파악하고자 한다. 우리나라 유치원의 세계교육의 현황을 구체적으로 파악함으로써 세계교육의 바람직한 방향을 제시하는데 본 연구의 의의를 둔다. 본 연구에서 설정한 연구문제는 다음 세가지이다. 첫째, 세계교육의 필요성 및 목표에 대한 유아 교사의 인식은 어떠한가? 둘째, 유치원에서 실시하고 있는 세계교육의 현황은 어떠한가? 셋째, 유아 교사가 인식하고 있는 세계교육의 문제점은 무엇인가?

The purpose of this study was to find the reacher's needs and current conditions about the global education in kindergarten. The following questions were set up for this study. 1. What is the teacher's recognition about the concept and contents of the global education? 2. What is the current conditions about the global education? 3. What is the teacher's needs about the global education? The survey was given to 530 teachers sampled from national scale. The data were analysed by percentage and x² test using program SPSS. The results of the study were summarized as following: first, most of the teachers(98.1%) recognized the necessity of global education, but their understandings about the global education was not so high(53.1%); second, the teachers focused their goal of global education on the differences of the nations not the similarities; third, most of the teachers(69.4%) implemented the global education in their class; fourth, they pointed out the insuffiency of the materials and resources of global education.
