유아에게 적합한 CD-ROM Title의 통합적 활용을 위한 개념 분석 연구

본 연구에서는 현재 유아교육 현장에서 많이 활용되고 있는 CD-ROM Title이 유아교육과정에 통합적으로 활용될 수 있는지를 알아보고자 하며 CD-ROM Title을 소개하는데 있어서 주요개념과 하위요소를 일목요연하게 볼 수 있는 분류체계를 제시하고자 다음과 같은 두 가지 연구문제를 설정하였다. 첫째, 유아용 CD-ROM Title에서 다루어지는 주요개념은 무엇이며 유아교육과정에 통합적으로 활용할 수 있는 내용으로 구성되어 있는가? 둘째, 유아용 CD-ROM Title에서 다루어진 주요개념의 각 하위요소별 내용은 무엇이며 이를 어떠한 분류체계로 제시할 것인가? 이상의 연구문제로 본 논의를 전개하고자 한다.

Every computer practice should be consonant with the overall principles of the educational program. Especially in early childhood settings, computers meaningfully in ways that facilitate their intellectual, social, emotional, and creative growth, In this view, the teacher must know that what is the component of the quality software for young children. Selecting quality software for integrating the curriculum is a challenging task for early childhood teachers. Because it is virtually impossible for evaluate every software program given the current pace with which software is produced. For this reason, this study was to review the contents of quality CD-ROM Title for young children which can be used for integrating the early childhood curriculum. The questions of this study included : 1. What are the key concepts of the CD-ROM Titles for integrating the early childhood curriculum? 2. What are the sub-contents of the CD-ROM Titles? This study reviewed key concepts of CD-ROM Titles with the evaluation system of Buckleiter and examined the contents the CD-ROM Titles for integrating early childhood curriculum. And examined the sub-contents(such as language, number, classfication, time, spatial relation, seriation, creative projects, other topics) of CD-ROM Titles. This study concluded that most of the key concepts and sub-contents were found in CD-ROM Titles and can be used for integrating across the curriculum. The study also suggest that early childhood educators should develop the index system of contents of CD-ROM Titles for selecting and using the software for integrating the curriculum.
