본 연구는 학교시설이 반드시 평생교유글 수용할 수 있도록 재배치되어야 한다는 연구의 필요성과 그 배경을 통하여 <평생교육의 연계를 위한 학교시설의 배치 모형에 관한 연구>를 수행하였다.

The existing school facilities have the regular fixed classrooms and the special classrooms have been apt to be arranged considering the size, not the situation for effective use. Especially various laboratories with the high-price learning materials, the computer classrooms and the library have been arranged on the 2nd, 3nd or more than the 3rd floor for the convenient management. The uniform and simple arrangement for convenience is very common now. But it is not effective to the various teaching-learning methods and it is diff-cult for the community to use. As the 21st Century has been changed into the knowledge and information society and the life-long learning society, everyone in the community as well as students has been changed into a learner. So the community wants to use the facilities such as a ground, a gym, an auditorium, a computer class, a music class, a laboratory and a library.
