교육시설 기능 요건 구성과 그 변화에 관한 연구

학교시설은 학습자의 능력과 수준 및 욕구에 따라서 일정한 수의 학생을 수용하기 위한 공간구성보다는 다양한 교수-학습프로그램 및 교육활동을 위한 공간과 지역사회의 평생교육과 연계한 학습의 장으로서의 역할과 기능을 발휘 할 수 있도록 개방성과 유연성을 갖춘 교육시설이 되어야 할 것이다.

The existing school facilities have the regular fixed classrooms and the special classrooms have been apt to be arranged considering the size, not the situation for effective use. Especially various laboratories with the high-price learning materials, the computer classrooms and the library have been arranged on the 2nd, 3rd or more than the 3rd floor for the convenient management. The uniform and simple arrangement for convenience is very common now. But it is not effective to the various teaching-learning methods and for the life-long learning society. As the 21st Century has been changed into the knowledge and information society and the life-long learning society, everyone in the community as well as students has been changed into a learner. The school should have the suitable facilities and the convenient construction for various life-long learning. The school facilities must have flexibility and openness to be used throughtout the year. Nevertheless the exiting school facilities haven't even functioned for the 7th educational curriculum. Especially making the facilities for the life-long education is very difficult under the situation that can't be accepted the 7th educational curriculum. So school facilities have to be planned, designed, and constructed to be sued for a community as well as the students of the school, and the facilities must have flexibility and openness. This study is to search for the suitable arrangement model of the school facilities in order to have them used for the students and the life-long education in the community which the school is situated in. In this study, the school facilities consist of classrooms, a learning and information resource center, facilities for supporting facul- ty members, students' activities, and school management.
