청각장애인의 직업적응능력 향상을 위한 지원방안 연구

A Study on Support System for Improving the Ability to Adapt to Work Place of People with Hearing Impairment - Based on Life Experience of school-age -

직업 생활은 사회발전에 가여하고 개인의 자아실현의 중요한 기반이 된다. 그러나 장애인 그 중에서도 청각장애인은 취업부터 직업생활 적응까지 많은 어려움을 느낀다. 본 연구는 청각장애인들의 이러한 직업생활 적응과 관련하여 학령기 생활경험에 관심을 두고 청각장애인의 심층면접을 통해 질적 연구방법 중 Giorgi의 현상학적 연구방법을 기반으로 분석해 보았다. 연구 결과 교육환경 에서는 29개의 핵심 어구와 5개의 대주제 진로지도 에서는 6개의 핵심어구와 3개의 대주제로 축약되었다 이를 통해 교육환경에서는 현실과 개인의 욕구가 반영되지 않은 획일화된 직업교육 교사의 수화실력 및 열의부족 학년에 맞지 않은 낮은 교육수준 국어교육의 강화 필요성올 살펴 볼 수 있었다 진로지도에서는 진로지도부재 및 부적절성 진로담당교사의 필요성이 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이라한 연구결과를 바탕으로 청각장애인의 직업생활 적응력 향상을 위해서 교육환경과 진로 지도 부분에서의 설천과제를 각 시가별로 제안하였다.

While occupation is a primary means of living, it is also the important foundation to contribute to social development and make one's life happy through self-realization. However, the people with hearing impairment among the disabled feel very difficult to get a job and adapt to vocational life. Focusing on the life experience of School-age, we analyzed the experience of work through the in-depth interview of the people with hearing impairment with the Giorgi's phenomenological research method from among qualitative research methods. This study drew total 8 main subjects from 29 key phrases and 5 main subjects of educational environment, and 6 key phrases and 3 main subjects of career counselling. In the aspect of educational environment, this study showed some problems as follows. First, vocational training was uniformed and didn't reflect the needs of reality and individuals. Second, teachers ability of hearing impairment language communication and didn't have enthusiasm for hearing impairment students. Third, the curriculum level of education was quite low. Forth, it could be observed that there is the need of strengthening Korean language education. On the other hand, career counselling was inappropriate or not executed at all, and professional career counsellors were required in the aspect of career counselling. Based on the results of this study, practice tasks in the areas of educational environment and career counselling were suggested to enhance the ability of adapting to vocational life for people of hearing impairment.
