新羅.高麗代 詩文에 나타난 韓國書藝 미학사상의 特徵 考察

Study in Characteristics of Korean Calligraphy Aesthetics thought in the Prose and Poetry of Shilla and Goryeo era

서예 이론의 성향을 분석하는 것은 각 서예이론의 기본 사상을 파악하는 것이다. 이것으로 부터 우리는 옛 사람은 서예에 어떠한 의의를 주었으며, 그 의의를 준 것은 서예에서 무었을 추구하려고 한 것이며, 또한 그들의 최후 이상은 무엇인가를 비교적 깊게 이해 할 수 있다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는 당시의 서적을 중심으로 하여 그 시대의 서예미학의 특징을 파악하는 것이다. 또한 이를 바탕으로 한국 서예의 미래지향점은 어디인가를 예측해보는데 의의를 두고자 한다. 그리고 신라에는 석양지, 김인문, 최치원을 비롯한 서예가가 약 19명이며, 고려시대는 태조를 비롯하여 무려158명이다. 하지만 이중 최치원, 임춘, 이규보, 이제현, 이색, 정몽주, 김구용을 예로 든 것은, 이들의 문집 외에는 이에 해당하는 글을 발견 할 수 없었기 때문에 부득이 그들의 시․문으로 그 시대의 서예미학을 유추해 보았다. 이러한 탐구를 통해 한국미학의 근원은 풍유에서 비롯된 신선사상과 도덕과 의리를 중시하는 선비사상이라는 것을 알게 되었다. 그리고 이를 발전시키기 위해서는 문화 생명을 이해하여 많은 실천과 수양이 따라야 함을 알았다.

To analyze the disposition of calligraphy theories is to grasp the basic conception of each theory. Through this analysis, we can understand deeply what meaning the ancient people tried to give to the calligraphy, what they tried to pursuit in calligraphy, and also what their last ideal was. So, this research is to grasp the characteristics of the calligraphy aesthetics with the books of the day as the central figure. And also, I tried to predict the future of Korean calligraphy on the basis of it. There were many calligraphers in Shilla and Goryeo era. In Shilla, there were about 19 calligraphers such as Seok Yang-ji, Kim In-mun, Choi Chi-won etc, and no less than 158 calligraphers were in Goryeo era including Tae-jo. The reason that I gave instances for Choi Chi-won, Im chun, Lee Gyu-bo, Lee Je-hyeon, Lee Saek, Jeong Mong-joo, Kim Gu-yong, is that I couldn`t find the appropriate writings except their collections of writings. Therefore, I could analyze the calligraphy aesthetics of that times through their prose and poetry. In result, we can realize that the root of Korean Aesthetic thoughts come from Shinseonsasang(神仙思想)based on the taste and Seonbisasang making much of moral and righteousness. To develop these thoughts we must try to understand the culture lives and cultivate our mind and put the thoughts into more practice.
