Role of Redevelopment Consultant on Urban Renewal Project

1. CONTENTS (1) RESEARCH OBJECTIVES The purpose of this study is to find out proper role of redevelopment project consultant through analysing procedure of projects and professionals's interviews. (2) RESEARCH METHOD This study was focused on delphi analysis. The data for this analysis were collected from the questionnaire. This questionnaire consisted of project consultant's role in the process of renewal projects and institutional improvements that need to be changed or redesign. Surveyers were questioned to evaluate the priority of consultant role and especially this study used to factor analysis. (3) RESEARCH FINDINGS the most important thing is the absence of guide of consultant's role, fee and the scope of their responsibility for the redevelopment projects. 2. RESULTS Our study suggest two ideas about the allocation of rebuilding consultant system. First, the priority of business scope of rebuilding consultant system is to get an permission from government and planning of rebuilding construction project. Second, government have to make a guide lines such as business scope of rebuilding system. Our study can be a basic research to set up a proper role of rebuilding consultant.
