A Reargument on sources of Sol In-gwi chon

The stories about a famous General, Xue Ren-gui(薛仁貴, 614∼683) and his family were very popular in China. They were made as novel named ｢Sol In-gwi jungdong｣in Ching dynasty and as novel named ｢Sol In-gwi chon｣by anonymous writer in Korea. Some resercher thought that ｢Sol In-gwi chon｣was translated version of ｢Sol In-gwi jungdong｣because of many similarities in contents. But some versions have different part against ｢Sol In-gwi jungdong｣. The theory about source of difference between two works was split into two. One is that it was occurred by any works related to Xue Ren-gui in China, other is that was occurred by any stories related to him in Korea. In this thesis, I examined a problem of two conflicting opinions and consequently I submit following opinion: ｢Sol In-gwi chon｣was is greatly influenced by ｢Sol In-gwi gwa hae jung dong｣in China, not ｢Sol In-gwi jungdong｣and any stories in Korea.
