A Study for Improving of Housing Welfare Service for Public Rental Housing's Residents - Focused on the Enhancement of Independent will and the Job Creativeness of Permanent Rental Housing's Residents in Seoul -

1. CONTENTS (1) RESEARCH OBJECTIVES The purpose of this study is to find the alternative for improving of housing welfare service for public rental housing's residents. The focus for this study is to enhance of independent will and create job of permanent rental housing's residents in Seoul. And it is certain that the policy will be continued for the residential stabilization of the low-income. Permanent rental housing in Seoul was supplied from 1989 to 1993 in order to solve out the residential problems of low-income bracket. Now permanent rental housing in Seoul has 45,998 units. Most of residents consist of low income bracket and old people (from 40 to 70 ages). But to supply permanent rental housing brought residents to other problems. This problem is that resident's haven't work will and dependent will. Therefore, we propose that ① housing welfare coordinator ② support of rental fee ③ social enterprise ④ volunteer mileage. (2) RESEARCH METHOD The method of this research is to collect the real cases of trials from manager of public rental apartment and literatures and show its measure to cope with possible future happenings. (3) RESEARCH FINDINGS The results of this study shows that the residents of permanent rental housing in Seoul are improving housing welfare service. To achieve this aim, we proposed that ① housing welfare coordinator ② support of rental fee ③ social enterprise ④ volunteer mileage. 2. RESULTS The analysis showed that the situation of permanent rental housing's residents and proposed how to solve these problems.
