These days students frequently use cyber language and chatting language in school. Owing to this. students use Korean words and letters wrong very often. Particularly. the increase of computer use and the reduction of notebook use make students have less understanding of right language. Owing to this influence. many students cannot use a final consonant correctly, and in particular. they use double-final consonant incorrectly very often because it is more difficult and not used frequently. So this study examines the reason why students feel more difficult in the use of double-final consonant with the analysis of element school students' error in the use of double-final consonant‘ and gropes for the guiding plan of writing double-final consonants to reduce the students' error in the use of double-final consonant. For this purpose. this study groped for the target of research and analysis first as follows The subjects of this study are students who are in voluntarily selected class from S elementary school which is located in Busan Nam-Gu. There are two targets of analysis. One is students' Korean language textbook. namely results of learning. and the other is the dictation test paper. which includes questions of double-final consonants , made out by the researcher. With this. this study analyzed the actual state of students' error in the use of double-final consonants The research processes to solve the purpose of this study are as follows First , this study investigated the frequency in the use of double-final consonant according to academic year and kind of double-final consonant Second , this study analyzed the error in the use of double-final consonant according to academic year and kind of double-final consonant. Third , this study analyzed the pattern and reason of the error in the use of double-final consonant , This study examined the pattern of error in the use of double-final consonant by classifying into omission of consonant. insertion of consonant‘ exchange of consonant , and long vowel ‘ and analyzed the reason of error in the use of double-final consonant by classifying into rule of long vowel. inconsistency of pronunciation and shape , influence of front and real‘ syllable ‘ and other reasons Fourth , this study groped for the guidance plan of using double-final consonant such as the guidance plan for error caused by the rule of long vowel. incorrect orthography. and inconsistency of pronunciation and shape‘ the guidance plan for error caused by the influence of front and rear syllable ‘ and other guidance plans Finally , the researcher tries to make proposals with respect to this study First. now there are many problems cause from the increase of internet use , and much exposure to the media , The cyber language and incorrectly used letters in media have an influence on the actual life. Students do not recognize the necessity of using letters right , even while they are using wrong letters. So it is demanded to teach students not to use cyber language or chatting language in school Second. teachers should have the understanding of using double-final consonant. and teach students to use right letters. It is strongly demanded to teach students properly in school to make them have an attitude of using right language and letters Third. now there are many studies on the pronunciation of double-final consonants. but there are only a few studies on writing double-final consonants. so with this study. the researcher hopes that elements schools will be provided with better materials for teaching to write double-final consonants.
