A Comparative Analysis of the Determinants to Affect Housing Satisfaction Level between Multi-family Rental Housing and Deposit-based Rental Housing - Fosed on Daejeon City Region -

1. CONTENTS (1) RESEARCH OBJECTIVES The purpose of this study is to find the determinants to affect housing-satisfaction level and compare the results between multi-family rental housing and depo0sit-based rental housing in Daejeon City region, Korea. (2) RESEARCH METHOD This study employed a survey method to check the housing-satisfaction level of residents, and stepwise regression analysis to find the determinants to affect housing-satisfaction level and to compare the results between multi-family rental housing and deposit-based rental housing. (3) RESEARCH FINDINGS In the results of stepwise regression analysis based on the survey of residents, the most important determinants are movement freedom and residence surroundings. 2. RESULTS This study has found the major determinants including movement freedom, residence surroundings, affecting the housing-satisfaction level through stepwise regression analysis. Whereas the residents living in multi-family rental housing showed high satisfaction level with movement freedom and residence surroundings, the residents of deposit-based rental housing with only movement freedom
