A Study on the Improvement Scheme of Development Plans on Industrial Complex Project in Busan-Jinhae Free Economic Zone

CONTENTS (1) RESEARCH OBJECTIVES Free Economic Zone, FEZ, is constructed in order to promote international investments especially with foreign finance conditions, and the national finance reinforcement by supporting the foreign-invest companies and the business environment with certain systemic plans: and strategies. (2) RESEARCH METHOD This study document seizes the current circumstance of Korea's FEZ development business, industrial complex developments, and the entire condition of industrial complex matters in the nation. Particularly, the problems involved in Busan-Jinhae FEZ were pointed out, and the improvement plans are suggested through the case-analysis. (3) RESEARCH FINDINGS First of all, in order to increase the efficiency and to avoid the duplication of the its function, a suitable installment plan is needed through systemic and careful programs. Moreover, to reinforce the competitive power for the wide FEZ, plans that need the linkage such as the wide transportation, mass energy supply business, promotions over U-City, and the maintenance plans are to feature the consistency, and the linkage to induce the specialization in the development to establish the systemic plan after the entire plan foundation. Finally, for the agricultural land preservation charges which affects industry ground cost, reduce and exempt(with 100%) the agricultural land preservation charges as same as the industry taxation with 「industrial Sites and Development Act」 when building the industrial complex in FEZ, 2. RESULTS Az such, the perspective Suggests that the problems are to he solved thus the systemic, strategic, and valuable industrial complex is to be created which stimulates the investing from foreign companies in order to achieve a improvement in National competitive power with balanced development among the local area.
