예랑유치원에서 이루어지는 도서대여 프로그램에 관한 사례연구

A case study on the book-lending program at Yerang Kindergarten

본 연구의 목적은 유치원의 도서대여 활동의 실시방법과 유아와 부모의 참여를 활성화시키기 위한 기관의 노력 도서대여에 대한 학부모 인식을 알아봄으로써 유아교육현장에서 효과적인 도서대여 방법에 대한 시사점을 제공하고자 하는 것이다 이를 위하여 교사 3명을 대상으로 유치원에서 이루어지는 도서대여 활동에 대하여 심충면담을 실시하고 학부모 15 명에게 질문지를 보내 단변을 받았으며 이후 학부모 2명과 심층면담을 하였다 또한 도서대여의 실제에 대한 이해륜 위해 5 회 참여관찰을 실시하였다. 연구결과 연구 대상 유지원에서는 사서활동， 매일 동화 읽어주기. 생일 책 선물하기‘ 인근 도서관과 연계한 도서대여 활동 가정과 연계한 독후활동을 실시하고 있었다 연구대상 유지원에서는 도서대여 프로그램에 대한 유아와 부모의 적극적 참여를 돕기 위해 정기적으로 책 구입하기. 동화나라 안내와 교육 실시하기. 다양한 문학활동 전개허가 칭찬과 격려하기. 교사의 펀지와 잭 선물 제공하기. 부모에 대한 격려와 지지. 공감하기 등의 노력을 하고 있었다‘ 이러한 도서대여 활동에 대해 부모들은 긍정적으로 평가 하고 있었으며 유아들이 다양한 책을 접하고 가족과 함께 책을 읽으며 의미있는 시간을 보낼 수 있는 점에 대해 만족스러워하였다. 또한 부보들은 유아들이 도서대여 활동에 동기를 가지고 능동적으로 참여할 수 있도록 유아의 활동에 대한 교사들의 계속적 관심과 지원 및 유아와의 대화를 요구하는 것으로 나타났다.

This study examined the processes involved in the book-lending program at Yerang Kindergarten, efforts made by the teachers to increase the effectiveness of the program, and perceptions of the parents. In-depth interviews with 3 teachers and 2 parents at Yerang Kindergarten were carried out and questionnaires were collected from 15 parents. In addition, 5 participant observations were made to understand the contexts of book-lending program at Yerang Kindergarten.The results of the study indicated that the book-lending program at Yerang Kindergarten, which has been provided to the children and parents in collaboration with a neighboring library, involves various literacy activities. Teachers read books to children everyday, provide a book to a child as a birthday gift, and encourage parents to read books to their children and write stories together at home. In order to increase the effectiveness of the program, the teachers regularly purchase new books for children, provide orientation sessions for parents about the book-lending program, engage children in various literacy activities in the class. compliment children's efforts in literacy activities, and support parents to participate in literacy activities at home with their children. Surveys and interviews with the parents at Yerang Kindergarten revealed that parents recognize the positive effects of the book-lending program and are satisfied with the program in that it facilitates quality time with their children. The parents expected teachers' consistent supports to sustain children's interests in the literacy activities implemented through the book-lending program.
