언어화가 아동의 사건기억에 미치는 영향

The Effects of Verbalization on Children’s Event Memory

본 연구는 아동이 사건을 경험하기 전에 사진 정보를 제공하여 사건기억을 향상시키고지 할때 때 언어화가 사건 기억에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가만 알아 본 것이다 만 6세 아동 52명을 대상으로 사건을 경험하기 전에 비언어화. 성인 언어화. 아동 언어화의 조건에 따라 사건과 관련이 있는 그림 이야기를 제시 하였다 조건에 따라 그림 이야기를 들려준 다음날 유아들은 직접 사건에 참여하였다 사건을 직접 경험한지 4 일 후에 유아의 사건기억 수행을 평가한 결과 아동 언어화의 조건에 참여했던 유아들의 사건기억 수행이 비언어화. 성인 언어화의 조건에 참여했던 유아들의 사건기억 수행보다 았다 본 연구 결과는 아동들이 사건을 더 잘 기억한 수 있도록 돕는 교육 방법에 대한 시사점을 제공한다

This research investigated the effectiveness of verbalization to present information prior to an event in order to enhance children’s memory of the event. Sixty-two children, all six years of age, participated in this research. The day before they participated in the event(Visiting the Pirate’s Room), the children devided into a non-verbalization group, adult-verbalization group and child-verbalization group. Non- verbalization group was presented with pictures and narration only. Adult-verbalization group was presented with pictures and narration and then heard the narration verbalized by an adult. Child-verbalization group was presented with pictures and narration and then children were asked to verbalize the narration. In the result was children who were participated in the child-verbalization group show more event recall ho formance than children who were participated in the non-verbalization group and the adult-verbalization group. These fìndings provide a suggestion on educational methods to enhance the children’s event memory
