In Muqaddimah, Ibn Khaldun, a devote Muslim, defined history as a separate science. He analyzed all political changes in North Africa using the term Asabiyyah: group feeling, social solidarity or group solidarity. According to his theory, Asabiyyah was a source of power of Muslim conquest in North Africa. He asserted that in a tribe, the existence of Asabiyyah, when combined with religious force, catalyzes the establishment of a dynasty. Ibn Khaldun has demonstrated through numerous examples that human psychology is an important factor in every historical incidents.
