한국과 대만의 보육서비스 비교 연구

A Comparative study on day-care service of Korea and Tψian

최근 세계적으로 교육기회의 확대와 교육의 질적 향상을 위해 국가적 차원에서 보육에 대한 지원과 노력을 아끼지 않고 있으며‘ 보육서비스는 한 국가의 교육 수준과 국가 발전의 가능성을 나타내는 지표로 이용되고 있다 연구의 목적은 호댁과 대만의 보육 서비스 현황 관련 법규 및 쟁점을 비교분석하고 시사점을 도출하는 데 있다. 연구방법으로는 흔택과 대만의 보육 서비스와 관련된 내용을 중심으로 병렬 비교 분석법을 사용하였다 분석 결과 한국과 대만의 보육 서비스를 실시함에 있어 정부의 정책적 지원이 이루어지고 있으나 한층 강화될 펼요가 있었다 대만은 여성의 지 위와 사회적 역할의 확대로 위탁 육아 비중이 매우 높았고‘ 사설 보육기관 중심으로 운영되고 있으며. 정책적 지원이 활발하게 이 루어지고 있는 것으로 분석되었다 이러한 연구 결과를 기초로 우리나라의 정책적 지원 장화 및 유아무상보육의 시행 확대를 제안하였다

Many worldwide nations support actively the child care service recently to increase educational opportunity and to improve educational quality. Child care service is actually getting the indicator from which one can appraise the nation’s educational level and possibility of the nation’s development. The study aims to ana lyze the present state of child care service, laws and issues related to the child ca re service, and characteristics of child care service between Korea and Taiwan in a comparative educat ion point of view. The study utilized the parallel comparison method on the child ca re service of Korea and Taiwan. The result showed that the chi ld care services are simi lar in both countries, and it is required to support and expand the child care service more actively. ln particu lar, the child nursery rate and the concern on a ch ild care service are relatively high in Taiwan because of the increasing social status of Taiwan woman, and the political support is being made vigorously in Taiwan. ßased on the result, the study suggested that the government expand the employer-supported child care facilities and give more free chi ld care service, and suggested some measures for expanding and improving public child care fac ilities.
