공예의 창조성이 지니는 미술심리치료의 잠재성

The Art-Therapeutic Potentiality in Craft's Creativity

본 연구는 최근 확산되고 있는 미술치료(Art Therapy)의 개요를 살펴보고 미술, 공예가 가지고 있는 창조적인 재료와 기법의 전개가 심리 치료적 가능성을 내포하고 있음을 지적하였다. 특히 바느질이라는 섬유공예기법을 사용한 본인의 섬유조형작업을 중심으로 상징성을 분석하였다. 이를 통해 행위와 조형적 결과물이 주는 개인의 심리적 변화를 관찰하면서 작업한 결과를 제시하였다. 공예가 지닌 창조적인 요소들이 미술치료라는 또 하나의 새로운 접근 틀로 조명되었을 때 공예의 기능과 형식에 밀착된 정서적 친밀도를 기반으로 일상의 감정을 표현할 수 있는 통로로서 기여할 것을 기대하는 바이다.

This research explained an synopsis of Art Therapy which is diffused recently and indicated development of the creative material and technique of Art & Craft was containing a psychical cure possibility. Especially it analyzed the symbolic characteristic of my work which uses a stitch-work.So I have offered as a result of my works and observed individual psychological change by stitch-work and results. If the creative elements of Craft were introduced newly approach by Art Therapy, I expect that Craft will make a significant contribution to become a method of sentimental expression with sticked function and form in craft based on human being.
