본 논문은 디지털 시대에 손글씨의 중요성과 학교 교육에 있어서 쓰기교육 강화필요성에 관한 내용을 담고 있다. 이에 대하여 修身과 실용성, 개인사의 자료 이세가지로 나누어 살펴보았다.먼저, 손글씨 쓰기에는 修身의 측면이 있다. 글씨는 그 사람의 배움이나 재능,의지, 사고를 그대로 드러내는 것이기 때문에, 글씨를 닦는 것은 바로 그 몸과 마음을 닦는 것이다. 글씨를 반듯하게 연마하는 과정을 거쳐 심신을 바로잡고 인격을바로잡을 수 있으니, 이것은 바로 삶 자체를 변화시킬 수도 있는 것이다. 손글씨쓰기가 이렇게 삶의 변화를 일으킬 수 있는 한 방편이라면, 우리 학교 교육에서의 쓰기교육은 결코 포기해서는 안되는 덕목인 것이다.다음으로 손글씨는 실용적인 측면에서 가치가 부각되고 있다. 먼저 손글씨는 디자인의 한 요소가 되어 상품의 가치를 상승시키는 역할을 하고 있다. 손글씨는 이제 정보만을 전달하는 단순한 문자가 아니라, 새로운 문화상품으로서 고부가가치를창출할 수 있는 하나의 신 성장동력이 된 것이다. 또한 손글씨 쓰기는 시험과 같은현실 속 경쟁 상황에서도 경쟁력의 한 요소가 되어, 자신의 지적 가치를 최대한 발휘하기 위한 수단이 된다. 따라서 손에 의한 창의력이 소실되기 전에, 그리고 힘들이지 않으면서도 자연스럽게 글씨 쓸 수 있는 습관을 기르기 위해, 우리는 학생들에게 어린 시절부터 직접 손으로 글씨를 쓸 수 있는 기회를 많이 주어야 할 것이다.끝으로 손글씨 자료는 개인의 역사를 증명하는 자료가 된다. 필자의 친필 자료에는 한 개인만의 특별하고 유일한 삶의 모습이 담겨 있고, 그렇기 때문에 이런 자료는 개인사를 정립하는 중요한 자료가 된다. 이런 개인의 역사는 또한 사회의 역 사가 될 수도 있고 인류의 역사가 될 수도 있다. 이러한 중요한 역사의 자산이 쓰기 교육의 소홀함으로 인하여 기계 글씨에 묻혀서는 안될 것이니, 이를 통해서도쓰기 교육이 강화되어야 함을 알 수 있다.손글씨는 다양한 필기도구를 사용해서 사람이 직접 손으로 쓴 글씨를 말한다.붓은 그 여러 필기도구 중의 하나이고, 붓글씨는 과거에 가장 일반적인 손글씨였다. 펜이 없었던 과거로 돌아가 붓으로만 필기를 할 필요는 없겠지만, 손글씨 자체를 포기하고 기계 글씨만을 선호하는 풍조는 분명 바뀌어야 할 것이다

This paper contains the importance of handwriting and writing education. This paper is segmented into three parts -moral training ,usefulness of handwriting , the article of autobiography. First, handwriting is moral training. Because handwriting contains his learning experiences, talents, mental abilities, self confidence. Handwriting is to practice morals. If you write a letter correctly, you will correct your personality and have self control power, and then you can change your life at last. As handwriting is means changing our life, we should not give up handwriting education in school. Second, The value of handwriting is emerging in the aspect of its usefulness. First, handwriting has become the factor of commercial design, playing a role to elevate the value of commodity. Handwriting is not only a simple letter but also new engine of industry. Moreover handwriting is a factor of personal competitiveness, being means eliciting his mental ability. Before we lose our creativity, we should make our younger student write a letter with his hand to make a habit of handwriting. In the end handwriting is the material proving personal history. Handwriting articles contain private aspects of life, establishing personal history. Such a personal history, if collected, becomes social history, in the end becoming human history. It should be recognized that we must strengthen writing education, Because handwriting is the asset that cannot be imitated by others. Handwriting is to write letters with various writing tools for himself. writing brush is one of the various tools writing a letter , letters written with writing brush has been general in the past in orient. Although we need not write a letter only by writing brush at present, the prejudice that word processor is superior to handwriting should be changed.
