일본의 서예교육에 관한 연구

Study on the Japanese calligraphy education -with an elementary curriculum as a central material-

일본은 전통문화를 잘 보존하고 있는 나라이다. 특히 서예문화는 보존 및 계승발전시켜 일반생활에 완전히 뿌리 내려져 있으며, 서예문화를 이용한 마케팅 사업으로 지역 경제의 활성화를 도모하고 있다.이러한 저변에는 초·중·고등학교의 교과과정에 서예과목이 정식으로 들어가 있다는 것이다. 특히 초·중학교의 경우 서예교육을 국어 교과목에 넣어 실시하고 있다.동양 문화의 ‘ 꽃 ’인 서예가 일본에서는 초·중·고의 필수과목으로 행해지고 있고서예교육에 관한 프로그램 개발과 연구에 많은 투자를 하고 있는 반면에 우리 정부와 교육기관에서는 서예를 한낱 사교육의 한 과목으로 치부하고 있다.본 논문에서는 일본의 초등학교 서예교육을 중심으로 교육목표, 교육내용, 시수배정, 한자교육 현황을 면밀히 살펴보고자 한다. 또한 서예가 교과과목으로 들어가게 된 배경과 서예교육의 필요성 및 방향을 제시하고자 한다.

Japan is a country of which traditional cultures have been preserved well. In particular, calligraphy culture have been preserved and developed so well, and therefore calligraphy culture is deep-rooted in Japanese daily life completely. Now Japan plans to revitalize local economy through calligraphy-based marketing business. In the background, the fact that a calligraphy subject is included in an elementary, a middle and a high school curriculum as a formal course is. Particularly, a calligraphy training is included in a Japanese language subject in an elementary and a middle school. In Japan, a calligraphy, the 'essence of the Eastern culture', is educated as a required subject in an elementary, a middle and a high school and massive capital is invested to research and develop program on its training. Whereas in Korea, the government and educational institutions consider it merely as a part of private education. I want to study closely the educational object, the educational contents and the present educational condition of Chinese character with the calligraphy education system of Japanese elementary school as a center in this thesis. Additionally, I'd like to show the background of calligraphy being included in school subjects, the necessity of calligraphy education and its direction.
