Cultural products Design Development from Gaya Patterns utilizing CAD/CAM

The Cultural products of accessories to modem people is changing greatly from value as a property in old times to a method to express personal uniqueness, and it will be changed more and more in the future. Development of Cultural products having the characteristics of Korean culture and reasonable price is expected to have great possibility in cultivating future market. Cultura l products not lacking of nationality but expressing unique local cultural assets can be expected to have enough competitiveness even in foreign market as well as domestic market. To develop more sensuous and competitive Cultural products, required database should be accumulated by expanding up-to-d ate equipment by connecting with the traditional method at present, and it would help to overcome the competition with time. Also, considering of the reality of current Cultural products industry, up- to date equipment should be used to make database with our cultural assets and accumulate design. In this thesis, I developed Cultural products using the remains of Gaya with up-to-d ate equipment and also would like to suggest the possibility.
