A Study on Formativity of Textile Pattern Decoration of Chosun Dynasty

As the variety of dresses in our life is increasing day and demand for weaven goods is also rising . The necessity for industrial design of the fibers is really required today. However, in our country the studies of fiber design are said to be yet Slug-gish.Therefore, this article was attempted to consider of textile Pattern Decoration of Chosun Dynasty. Those emblems may be classified into weaving, embroidery and gold foil by expressing art of placing the emblem onto the textile. Although emblems of the same subject material, there would be somewhat different in expression among weaving Embroidery and gold foil due to its properties. It can be shown that the tradition of emblems for over five centuries of the Yidynasty had been kept a persistency without a broad change because of faith and thoughts implicity contained in the emblems.
