본 연구는 평택과 당진의 황해경제자유구역 선정으로 인한 황해경제권의 변화를 둘러싸고 황해경제권의 대표항인 평택.당진항의 만족도를 조사 연구함으로써 중국과 인접하여 동북아의 거점항으로 발돋움할 수 있는 큰 경쟁우위 요소를 갖춘 평택․당진항의 발전방향을 제시하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 평택 및 당진지역의 산업현황 및 국가산업단지 및 일반산업단지내 기업들 중 평택.당진항을 이용하는 기업체들을 대상으로 항만 이용시 중요도를 통한 선택속성 파악 및 평택.당진항 이용에 대한 만족도 등과 관련한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 이의 결과로 항만을 이용하는 업체와 실제 평택.당진항을 이용하는 업체는 지리적 근접성을 가장 중요한 요소로 꼽고 지리적 근접성에 가장 높은 만족도를 보임으로서 항만이 지리적으로 근접할수록 만족도가 높다는 결과를 IPA분석을 통해 도출해 냈다. 하지만 위의 결과는 설문대상 업체들이 대부분 평택.당진항에 위치한 기업이기 때문에 항만의 입지에 대한 중요도나 만족도가 가장 높게 도출되었을 가능성이 있으므로 차후 연구 범위를 평택.당진항에 위치한 기업뿐만이 아닌 평택.당진항을 이용하는 전체 기업체들로 연구 범위를 확대할 필요성이 있다.
This paper aims to point out the development strategies of the Pyeongtaek-Dangjin port which has competitive advantage to become the Northest Asia's basic port near by China. And we analyze the Changes of the Yellow Sea Economic Circle caused by selecting the Pyeongtaek and Dangjin port as the Yellow Sea Free Economic zone and finding the Satisfaction of the Pyeongtaek-Dangjin port as the Yellow Sea Economic Circle's major port. This paper has made the Questionnaire on the importance of choosing a proper port and the Satisfaction of using Pyeongtaek-Dangjin port. In the Questionnaire we analyze the companies which use the Pyeongtaek-Dangjin port in National Industrial Complex and General Industrial Complex and the conditions of Pyeongtaek-Dangjin Industrial Circle. We use IPA analysis method for this paper. The Analysis of the Questionnaire shows that the companies which use the ports especially Pyeongtaek-Dangjin port are highly satisfied with the closeness in geology, the closer the ports are, the higher satisfaction they got. But the Questionnaire is only about the companies which located in Pyeongtaek-Dangjin port so it is possible to bring out the highest satisfaction. However there are some shortages here. In the future, it is necessary to expand the scope of the research by analyzing all companies using Pyeongtaek- Dangjin port.
