손바닥선인장 열매에 의한 염료 추출 및 발색 효과에 관한 연구

This paper is for the study of the effects of coloring and dyeing stuffs extraction from fruits of Opuntia Ficus. A Opuntia Ficus has been an epiphyte plant since it was introduced in Cheju island as an ornamental plant two hundred years ago. And now, it is grown as many as it is designated to local souvenir No. 35. The fruit of this plant contains red-purpl e sap. which is due to be used in coloring cloth. In the test of the appropriateness of the water used in extracting, soft water is showed to be suitable. Red-purple color is made when the water is heated at 100 degrees Fahrenheit for 25 minutes, and the cloth is dyed between 45 degrees and 50 degrees for 25-40 minutes. As a mordant, alum, chloride lead I , acetic acid copper, and a cluster-amaryllis natrium are used. Especially, coloring after mordanting is helpful for a color tone than mordantin g after coloring, but its duration of the color tone is low in that case. As an extract stagnated, coloring of cloth is also not good in duration, and a color tone of the first coloring is better than that of the second one and the third one. The coloring of a caustic soda extract without a mordant result in red-purple, but it does not result in purple when other mordants arc used. Without a mordant, it appears to be red-purple in all of thc first, thc second and the third dyeing. And the first dyeing shows a better color tone. In coloring in acco rda nce with chloride, the best co lor tonc is made with Icc ch loride. Coloring with a stationary extract result in a darker color tone, rcd. When anti-oxidize r Cysteine and Polyvinylpyrrolidone arc used as an extract, they dye a cloth red-purple, but the color become badly weak as the cloth is washed. In thc test, mordanting after coloring is the best in its duration. Next, in the order of a softwater extract, chlorid of lead I of ascor bic acid, chlorid of lead I of soft water, chlorid of lead I of caustic soda , acetic acid coppcr of soft water, acetic acid copper of ascorbic acid, and acetic acid cooper of caustic soda arc durable in its color tone.
