The Study on Development of Cultural Merchandise Using Fabric Material -Based on korean Traditional Images-

21 century, the image of the nation is highly considered as its culture and it's seriously required to develop cultural goods by harmonizing the concept of traditional culture and rational characteristics of modern culture. Putting emphasis especially to fabrics, development of cultural heritage goods is needed urgently to meet the needs of times. Choose material in cultural heritage as relics, patterns, dresses , ornaments and etc ., and extract and arrange correct motives that express Korean emotion, modern sense, creativity, symbolism, economical efficiency and function. Also apply varied experience to goods development through sample production or simulation process. Realizing our superior background of cultural history and its importance, we can have pride as cultured nation and also should try to develop cultural goods continuously for practical use.
