몽골의 전통의복 및 섬유공예품에 관한 연구

A Study on Traditional Mongolian-Costume and fabric goods -Focusing on the Mongolian Cultural Town’s collection

우리나라와 몽골이 교류를 시작한 것은 10여 년 전의 일이라서 현재까지 크게 교류의 성과를 낳고 있지는 못하다. 특히 섬유미술 분야에서는 더더욱 교류가 미미하여 많은 연구와 조사를 바탕으로 한 교류가 요구되는 상황이다. 이러한 가운데 현재 우리나라에서 몽골에 대한 전통의복과 섬유소재용품을 비교적 잘 소개 하고 있는 곳은 남양주시 몽골문화촌 이다. 몽골의 전통의복과 섬유용품의 주요 소재는 가죽，모피，비단 등인데 이것들은 소재자체로는 친숙하지만，그 양식에 있어서는 매우 낯설다. 이와 같은 소재와 모양에 대한 현대적 해석과 상품개발이 이루어진다면 새로운 섬유 공예품을 생산함으로서 한.몽 간의 교역에 이바지 할 것 이라고 생각한다. 향후 한국과 몽골은 지역적으로나 역사적으로 교류의 가능성이 큰 만큼 이부분에 대한 조사와 연구가 이루어지기를 기대한다.

The exchange between Korea & Mongolia started about 10 years ago. But we have no big result now. Korean Fiber Art s needs a little more digging into the traditional Mongolian-Costume and fabric goods. A few years ago, NamYangju City opened the Mongolian Cultural Town. The Mongolian Cultural Town have many collections - Traditional Mongolian-Costume and fabric goods - made of leather, fur, silk. These are strange to us. On the other hand, these are familiar with us. We have to reaserch for modem interpretation and develop the new products of Mongolian-goods. So we will contribute to exchange between Korea & Mongolia by make creations of new trend. I expect the more investigation and research of traditional Mongolian-costume and fabric goods because Korea and Mongolia have a great potential for exchange each other from the viewpoint of historical & local relation.
