A Study of Instruction Programs for Computer Asisted Textile Design

Recently, CAD systems have become indispensable in field of the textile and clothing design. Therefore I would like to propose some education methods for computer-assisted textile design system. 1. Students who had studied the theory and the practical techniques of the textile design did better at computer-assisted textile design than those who hadn't, and the trend was especially noticeable in their ability to use the original menus of the CAD system. 2. Students who had studied more computer courses did better at computer-asisted textile design than those who hadn't, and the trend was especially noticeable in their ability to use the basic menus of the computer and the commen menus for graphics. 3. Students who had been educated using PC's and other CAD systems did better at computer-asisted textile design than those who hadn't, and the trend was especially noticeable in their ability to use of the original menus of the CAD system. 4. In conclusion, I would like to propose the use of a multi-step education program for a computer-assisted practice courses to enhance learning efficiency. In this program, students would start with textile design - related courses and basic computer courses, or they would take a practice course in which they would utilize PC's or other CAD systems.
