Clothing Conformity according to the Age, Gender and Self Satisfaction

The purpose of this study was to analyze the clothing conformity according to age, gender and self satisfaction. A questionnaire survey was conducted on the middle school female students, university male and female students and married women. The questionnaire was consisted of the demographic characteristics, the clothing conformity and self satisfaction(self esteem, body satisfaction and appearance satisfaction) as referred as previous research. Frequency, mean, t-test and F-test were used for data analysis. The clothing conformity degree of females depended on their age: the university students showed more clothing conformity than the middle school students. Also, the clothing conformity degree of college students depended on gender: the male students showed more clothing conformity than the female students. The levels of clothing conformity were significantly different according to their self esteem of university students.
