테러대상시설의 특수경비원 직무태도 영향요인에 관한 연구

국가중요시설은 전통적으로 청원경찰을 배치하여 경비를 실시하여 왔다. 2001년 미국에서 발생한 9.11테러는 우리에게 큰 충격과 분노를 불러 일으켰다. 2009년 12월 성탄절 미 항공기 폭탄테러 기도 사건을 계기로 미국은 공항 알몸투시검색을 검토하여 전 공항에 설치할 계획이며, 영국, 네델란드, 태국, 우리나라 등에서도 설치방안을 추진하고 있다. 이렇듯 항공기 테러를 예방하기 위한 세계 각국의 비상한 관심과 대책수립은 결국 탑승객의 안전은 물론 국가의 안전보장과도 직결되는 문제로 이어지고 있다. 테러대상시설이란 국가중요시설로서 공공기관, 공항, 항만, 주요산업시설 등 적에 의하여 점령, 또는 파괴되거나 기능이 마비될 경우 국가안보 및 국민생활에 심대한 영향을 미치는 시설을 말한다. 이 연구의 목적은 테러대상시설인 공항을 테러 위협으로부터 예방하고, 항공테러를 예방할 수 있는 인적자원인 특수경비원이 현재 공항에서 중요한 업무를 수행하고 있으나 이들의 직무태도에 어떠한 요인이 영향을 미치는지를 평가할 수 있고, 그 결과 정책적인 함의를 발견하기 위한 것이다. 연구결과 이론적 체계화를 통하여 특수경비원의 직무태도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석ㅎ였다. 개인적 요인, 인간관계 요인, 직무환경 요인 등은 특수경비원의 직무태도에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 분석되었으며, 요인을 분석하는데 사용될 측정문항과 척도를 개발하였다. 또한 특수경비원의 직무태도에 대해 단편적으로 연구되었던 개인적 요인, 인간관계 요인, 직무환경 요인 등이 직무태도에 영향을 주고 있음을 파악하였으며, 구성개념들의 측정변수들에 대한 신뢰성과 타당성이 입증되었다.
