A Study on the Impact of Yeosu Expo on Regional Real Estate Market

. CONTENTS (1) RESEARCH OBJECTIVES This research studies the impact of Yeosu Expo on the regional real estate market. (2) RESEARCH METHOD The data for this analysis were collected from the local real estate market of Yeosu city. The dataset consists of the land transaction volumes and the development projects in Yeosu. The Impulse Response Analysis is used to estimate the relationship between the land transaction and the development projects related with Yeosu Expo. (3) RESEARCH FINDINGS The results show that land transaction volume is affected by the development projects in Yeosu. 2. RESULTS The purpose of this research is to find the important variables on the land transaction in Yeosu city. As results, we find out that the development projects related with Yeosu Expo are influencing factors of the land transactions in Yeosu. But, the land transactions do not respond immediately to the changes in the real-estate development plans over time.
