중.고등학교 영어 학습활동책 활용 실태에 관한 연구

A study on secondary school teachers’ use of English activity workbooks

This study aimed to investigate the usefulness of middle school and high school English activity workbooks. A self-report questionnaire was completed by 47 middle- and 54 high-school teachers, and interviews were conducted with 10 teachers. The results indicated that the middle school teachers utilized activity workbooks more often than the highschool teachers. Most teachers pointed out that the activity workbooks had too many activities to implement during regular class hours and that most activities were not feasible in the Korean classrooms. In addition, the teachers also reported that there were no significant differences between English activity workbooks and their main textbooks. They also noted that there existed little difference in the level of complexities of activities across three proficiency levels.
