통번역습득론과 도구적능력

The present study introduces the 'Acquisition of Interpretation and Translation (I & T) Competence' as a concept parallel to language acquisition, and proposes it as one area of research. Considering that interpretation and translation are psychological phenomena, the definition of I & T competence and principles behind its acquisition must be studied from a psychological point of view. The present study has two parts. First, it presents a definition of the 'Acquisition of I & T Competence', outlining this new concept and introducing themes of research. Second, it introduces a research experiment conducted based on the PACTE in order to study the translation competence whose aim was to gain insight into 'instrumental competence' as one component of translation competence.
