Analysis of the grammatical elements in the test 4 of the intermediate-level (B2) of the DELE examination

The DELE (Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language) is an official qualification certifying levels of competence and mastery of Spanish. This diploma certifies students’ fluency in four skills of Spanish (speaking, listening, reading, and writing) at certain levels. And it guarantees test validity and international recognition. For these reasons, there are colleges and universities in Korea that grant academic credits for the diploma and requires the students majoring in language and literature of Spain and Latin America to take it, instead of asking them to take graduation examination. However, it is difficult to find suitable textbooks and materials in Korea for the DELE exam preparation. So instructors as well as students have insufficient information and do not know from where and how to start. As the diploma of the intermediate level (B2) is often required as graduation examination and the more points are assigned to the test 4, in this study I will analyze the grammatical elements of this test and infer the questions that can possibly repeated in the following tests. Therefore, the purpose of this work is to help candidates and professors to take the most advantage of what they have learnt for passing the exam.
