The Management Efficiency Analysis of Construction Companies using Data Envelopment Analysis

1. CONTENTS (1) RESEARCH OBJECTIVES The purpose of this study is to emphasize the importance of the management efficiency of the construction industry in order help them make right decision and despite many previous methods for analyzing productivity. (2) RESEARCH METHOD This study was focused on DEA analysis. we were coming to analyze the efficiency of the industry using Data Envelopment Analysis(DEA). This paper uses CCR model in DEA to measure the efficiency of management in which we can know the technical efficiency level among DMU(Decision Making Unit). (3) RESEARCH FINDINGS In the results of this analysis, three companies is found to manage their companies effectively among 25 top-ranking construction companies and there was no any correlation and through the result we could realize that the result analyzed by "DEA" don't exactly match financial risks which means that corporation's management is inefficient . 2. RESULTS This study emphasize necessities to improve the management efficiency of the construction companies in Korea. 1) We will be continued to study CCR model in addition to analyze efficiency of real estate company 2) We are quite sure that our study can be approved materials for benchmark and management establishing strategic plan.
