An essay on research about Cho-Sun literature of TADA（多田正知）in Japanese Colonial Period

This paper studied on the TADA（多田正知）'s research about Cho-Sun literature. After graduating from Tokyo Imperial University, TADA（多田正知） became a lecturer of Kyongsung Imperial University and was promoted as a professor the next year. At that time, he started a research on Korean literature. His research can be divided into three fields, such as the history of Cho-Sun literature, the history of Cho-Sun chinese literature, and author research. As the features of his study, the first, he defined Cho-Sun literature being transplanted from China. But it was not changed the truth of the Korean literature. He argued what was the Korean literature, that is, Korean=hangul and Korean =author. The Second, his research was done in an extension of the empire of the Korean Studies. As a means of a loyal subjects of imperial Japan, he tried to practiced the ideology of Empire Japan by the Korean literature study.
