What have we learned from the Great Mind Peter Drucker? Which of his tenets and principles still hold good for management? How can we strike a balance among varying expectations from clients, shareholders, knowledge workers and within the social environment? What can we and must we do to be prepared as managers for the next society? Peter Drucker has mentioned a large number of basic management principles, which have focused on communication. He challenges us to learn to deal with contradictions and, as managers, to use the tension between their poles. This article describes what are what I consider to be Drucker’s ten most important suggestions.
