철도기관사의 내적통제위치와 직무스트레스의 상호작용에 관한 연구

A Study On The Interaction Between Internal Locus Of Control And Job Stress Of The Railway Drivers

본 논문은 안전업무종사자인 철도기관사의 내적통제위치와 직무스트레스 요인이 직무만족에 미치는 영향을 밝혀보려는데 그 목적이 있다. 특히 현업기관사가 일상적으로 겪는 직무스트레스 요인이 무엇인지를 구체적으로 살펴보는 한편, 가설검증을 통해 직무스트레스 요인과 직무만족 간의 관계를 성격요인인 내적통제위치가 어떻게 조절하는지를 살펴봄으로써 기관사 선발단계에서 성격요인(내적통제위치)에 대한 철저한 검증의 필요성 및 현업의 직무수행과정에서 발생하는 직무스트레스에 대한 관리의 필요성을 제기하였다. 이 같은 연구목적으로 달성하기 위해 현업인력에 대한 집중인터뷰를 통해 직무스트레스 유발요인을 도출하고 이를 토대로 설문을 작성, 배포하였으며, 회수된 174부의 유효설문을 통계적으로 분석하였다. 그리고 이를 토대로 기관사의 선발 및 관리와 관련한 제도적 차원의 대안을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this article is, on the one hand, to find out and analyze the diverse factors that are incurring stress to the railway drivers, and the other hand, to depict the relationship among internal locus of control, stressors, and job satisfaction. To attain this purpose, the authors designed the questionnaires based on in-depth interview, scrutinized the factors of stressors, and statistically tested the hypotheses on the moderating effect of Locus of Control on Stressors - Job Satisfaction. And the desirable ways of selection and management for the drivers were suggested.
