Missionary understanding and application for the border

Border is the place which do separate each other. There has been two attitudes about this border, prohibiting to access or beyond. But I think that we can acknowledge it as the space of existence. If it is possible, the border is the place where we can inhabit. And we can understand as the space for our missionary activities. Therefore, the border must be understood as certain subject space which we must make live rather than escaping or beyond. According to these ideas, I give a name Inter-space. The Inter-space is similar to the characteristics of mission. Mission exists as role of bridge between Christianity and world. Here, the role of bridge includes hermeneutic meaning and practical meaning at the same time. Basic character of Theology is also similar to Inter-space. It is because that Theology stands between God's the world and human's the world. Therefore Theology makes efforts to explain God's the world in human's language. Such discussion of theology can be found in M. Buber, P. Tillich and Jung Young Lee. Churches can make Inter-space for physical or discourse, participate in and enlarge it for missionary work. Church may encounter Others in Inter-space, and dialogue, learn each other, and then enjoy together.
