Church Consulting is rather a new concept in the Korean church. It is the process of receiving diagnosis and advice about the diverse problems of the church from the experts. Consulting does not end in diagnosis, but proceeds to treatment and follow-up for a healthy church. Church consulting is, in a word, total clinic ministry program. Church consulting can help the church in effective management of church organization, in the solving the problems of the church, in the development of desirable church ministry modeling. and in the sustaining growth of the church. Consulting process is done in the following steps: counselling step, proposal step, diagnosis step, and action step. There are various models of church consulting. They are NCD model, ICG model, 4PMCS model, and the integration of ICG and 4PMC model. The Institute for Church Growth is now developing a consulting model fit for the Korean church. There are some tasks of church consuling ministry in the future. The first is the development of church consulting theology. The second is the balance between church health and church growth. The third is the ongoing development of church consulting tools(models). Nowadays many Korean churches begin to take interest in church consulting. Church consulting can be an important ministry tool for healthy church growth. Consulting ministry proceeded in faith and prayer will bear good fruits in the church.
