노약자 및 장애인을 위한 스마트폰 기반 모바일 케어 서비스 모델의 제안

Proposal of Smart Phone Based Mobile Care Service Model for the Elderly and the Disabled

최근의 정보 기술 서비스의 가장 큰 변화 중 하나는 스마트폰과 같은 모바일 기기와 컴퓨터의 융합으로 볼 수 있다. 과거에는 PC와 인터넷에서나 누릴 수 있었던 다양한 정보, 서비스가 현재는 스마트폰의 모바일 애플리케이션을 통해 손쉽게 제공되고 있다. 특히 의료· 보조 장비의 소형화로 휴대성이 증가되고, 스마트폰과 연결되면서 모바일 의료 서비스가 현실화되었다. 그러나 장애인 및 노약자는 이러한 정보 기술 서비스에서 소외되거나 변화에 순응하지 못하고 있는 문제점이 있다. 이에 본 연구는 노약자 및 장애인의 사회적 통합을 위하여 정보 기술 서비스 부분에서 현재 제공되고 있는 서비스의 내용을 사용자 관점에서 문제점을 분석하고, 이들 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 효율적, 효과적, 경제적 방안으로 스마트폰에 기반한 모바일 케어 서비스 모델을 제안하고자 한다.

As seen in smart phones, the convergence of mobile devices and computer systems is one of the outstanding trends in recent information technologies. The services that were provided only by computer systems are now readily provided by smart phones and mobile applications. The advances in microelectronics and mobile Internet services increase the portability and the mobility of medical and assistive devices, which in turn accelerates the growth of mHealth and mobile care services. However, the disabled or elderly who seriously need theses services are in fact excluded from their benefits since they are both socially and economically weak. Therefore, in this research, we analyzed the services they need, and propose a smart phone based mobile care service model which can provide such important services efficiently, effectively and costlessly to the elderly and disabled.
