A Study of Recognitionon the Tangun Tomb(檀君墓) in Chosun Period

The transmission of Tangun tomb at Kangdong-hyon shows another aspect to us as compared with several versions of Tangun. It is related to death of Tangun. So far we are used to sit the god of Asadal(阿斯達) mountain about the last of Tangun. It is recorded in Kogi(古記) and Bongi(本紀), which were worked in Koryo Period at least. It is also reflected the image of gods & men. However it is not that the transmission of Tangun tomb shows the image of divinity, but that it shows the aspect of human. It reflects the thoughts for reasonable and objective understanding about the transmission of Tangun. This thesis studied several transmissions about the Tangun tomb in Chosun period. It is related to emergence of Ungje-si(應製詩) type. The first, it examined the transmission of Tangun at Kangdong-hyon. It is to premise the background of transmission appearance for that. The second, it studied various materials about that. Of course many materials are written down simply location and scale of that without definite contents. But it prepared to observe approaching attitude of the intellectuals in Chosun period. The third,it studied affirmative and negative recognition for the transmission of Tangun tomb.
