한국 토지조사사업 중 교육에 관한 연구

Research on Education among Korean Land Survey Enterprise

일제는 토지조사사업을 하기 위하여 먼저 조사 요원 교육을 시행하였다. 재정고문 메가타가 구한말 토지조사 사업을 하기 위하여 1905년 6월 탁지부 산하에 측량기술견습소를 설치하고 교육을 하였으며, 계속하여 학부 주관으로 1910년 초 관립한성외국어학교, 관립한성고등학교에 기술원 양성소를 부설하여 조사 요원 양성을 하였다. 그 후 역시 1910년 초 학부가 주도하여 대구, 평양, 전주, 함흥 등에 농림학교를 설치하고 측량을 필수과목으로 하였다. 또한 1911년에 임시토지조사국 양성과를 설치하여 토지조사를 위하여 다양한 분야에 걸쳐 수많은 요원 양성을 하여 토지조사를 완성하였다. 이 과정에서 교수, 과목, 배출인원을 관보 등 원초자료를 인용하여 고찰하였다.

In order to carry out the Land Survey Enterprise, the education of the survey agents was launched. The financial consultant Megata established survey technical schools under of the Ministry of Finance in June 1905. Educating students continued at training centers Hansung Foreign Language at the beginning of year 1910 under etc. the Ministry of Education. Also in the beginning of 1910, they established the agriculture and forestry schools at Daegu, P?ongyang, Jeonju, and Hamhung which included survey subject. In 1911, a training center was also established at temporary the Land Survey Bureau to educate various agents who completed the land survey. During this period, professors etc. were consulted for gathering of basic data for official gazettes, etc.. This study explores the necessity of education as the foundation of land survey enterprises.
